Our goal when we opened Vintage Block was to create a 1950s look and feel. We spent time on the details to ensure a very unique and special space. Our target audience was 4-16 year olds. We figured if the kids loved us, the parents would return. Our vision was to create an atmosphere before technology took over. Where people could put down their phones, play checkers and visit in a simple, but sweet environment.   

Outside each guestroom you will find a table with either a checkerboard or backgammon board. We have four person surrey bikes to ride around the property. Each day we serve Tang and declare every Friday, “Freezer Pop Friday.” There are board games, cards, and an entire wall of Dr. Seuss, Golden Books and Dick and Jane books for the kids to check out. Guests have access to wood for the outdoor firepits, outdoor grills, pool and games.
